What to expect from your acupuncture treatment?
Prior to your acupuncture treatment you will receive a health history questionnaire which will need to be completed before your first treatment. The acupuncturist will review the health history questionnaire with you in order to devise the best approach for your treatment and discuss your own desires for your journey to health. Once a treatment plan is in order, the acupuncturist places thin, sterile, disposable needles into various points to activate the qi creating balance in the body. After a treatment, you will be relaxed or sleepy. Most patients will see immediate results from acute problems. Chronic problems take a longer time to resolve. Treatments usually last from 60 to 90 minutes.
